Cardinals at the Feeder again

Merry meet all,

How are my dear readers? Are you all alive out there? I hope so. Life goes on as normal here, well as normal as it can be. I filled the bird feeder with a new batch of seeds. The feeder is visited by red cardinals, blue jays, chickadees and sparrows. I love watching them. So does my cat.

I recently bought a new sewing machine!! I am so happy to own a machine that works properly! I can’t wait to get acquainted with my new sewing machine. I am just so happy. The sewing machine is a Singer model. I bought the machine at Canadian Tire. Imagine all the things I can accomplish now, including sewing that beautiful Nightfell Herbalist cosplay costume. Oh I can’t wait!!

I spied tiny buds in my garden. The snow keeps coming but spring is on her way! No matter how bad the quarantine is, we know we can count on spring to raise our spirits! Despite how awful things seem right now, know that this virus is not forever. All storms pass. The victory at the end of it is even sweeter.

I can’t wait to put out the plants I have overwintered. I am so eager to garden but first the frost has to pass. I feel like a colt chomping at the bit and ready to run in the race, but reined in and raring to go. I hope to hear from the Arts NS council about my poetry book proposal in 10 to 12 weeks. Nice to know somethings are going like normal. I hope its good news.

During this (awful) quarantine, I am still working on my writing, still posting on Instagram, still alive. This is a good time to finish a lot of projects, so that when it is over, you haven’t been regretting the free time you were allotted. I want to order some clothes from Instagram. If I am to be trapped indoors, I may as well look nice while self-isolating.

I wish you all good health and safety during this troubled time.

Blessings, Spiderwitch
