Merry Meet All,
I have some small victories to share with you. Open Heart Forgery -www.ohforgery.com, is soon to be launching its December issue. There will be a celebration of the release of the latest copy of the journal at the Just Us cafe on Spring Garden Road. Open Heart Forgery has printed one of my poems, Under A Blood Moon, in their October issue.
Circle Magazine has published two of my articles in their winter issue. One article is about Pentacles and the other is my article of my matron deity the Goddess Brighid. I am nearing the end of my Practical Astrology course. I’ve learned a lot about astrology and about myself as well. My birthday is coming up on the 27th and to celebrate, I’m going out of town to Cape Breton to visit and relax. I have some concerns leaving my kitty at home but the cat sitter will take good care of her.
The Full Moon for November has passed. Samhain is passed and now we have the long dark cold winter ahead of us. Imbolc may feel far away yet there is a lot that can be done during the winter season. It’s a time to turn inward and to work on projects that were put off in the summer. When I am in Cape Breton, I will be sitting in front of the woodstove with tea and a good book to read. I’ll probably hear the woodpeckers and squirrels. I can’t wait to be out of town as it has been over a year. I deserve a break. When I’m back, I’ll blog all about it.
